About the role
The Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning Centre) is a Queensland Health based training provider offering a range of core mental health, alcohol and other drugs education programs for mental health professionals.
Through our training courses, we aim to initially provide practical foundational knowledge for professionals who work with clients that experience mental health problems. In addition, we provide intermediate and advanced-level knowledge and specific skills that focus on consumer safety and mental health recovery plus clinical supervision skills.
This role is to assist in the application of high-quality research and evaluation activities and techniques to Mental Health education conducted by the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning Centre).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in data entry, data cleaning and analysis including a working knowledge of multivariate statistical packages, primarily SPSS. Ideally experience will include handling both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Demonstrated research experience including a sound knowledge and understanding of psychometric principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing evaluations including the use of electronic survey tools.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and interpersonal skills including the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, use initiative, communicate clearly and work collaboratively as a member of the team.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
